Smokeball offers widgets for tracking Settlement and Conveyancing Critical Dates on your Dashboard, for all matters or specifically your matters.
To add the widget to your dashboard:
- From the Smokeball desktop app, select the Dashboard from the left menu.
- Select Customise located on the top-right corner of the dashboard.
- Ensure you have space created on your dashboard. You can also add a new dashboard specifically for this.
- You can add multiples of the same widget on a single dashboard. See the Tips section at the bottom of this article for dashboard design ideas.
- Select Add widget on the top-right corner of the dashboard, then choose Critical Dates from the left menu.
- Click on the widget you wish to add. You can configure its settings to customise the information shown.
- Select Add.
- (Optional) Resize the widget by dragging the bottom-right corner to your preferred size.
- Select Save to save the dashboard layout.

Want to separate your lists so you have one for each critical date? Create a “Critical Dates” Dashboard featuring one widget per date type.
Want better visibility over your staff members' upcoming critical dates? Add a widget for each staff member.
